Mindfulness is about being present in the moment. It's about being aware of what is going on around you, of having self-control and being at peace.
We believe there are four ways that a person can be present in every moment: physically,
psychologically (or cognitively), emotionally and spiritually. Mindfulness is about having peace of mind and peace in your spirit. It's being aware of and recognizing the good in others and the good in yourself. Mindfulness improves your health, helps productivity, creativity, and leads to being happy with who you are. Substance Use Disorder robs a person of their mindfulness.
